1109 Holton Lane- New Rehab!

I just started another rehab in Takoma Park, MD. This neighborhood is great for renovating houses because it's quiet, safe and close to pretty much everything in DC (the metro, the highway, downtown, etc...). This house caught my eye because it's all brick (which is a great selling point), on a nice block and needed a TON of work. The house was being sold by a trustee, which was another great plus, because they are far less invested in the sale and it's often a great place to find a deal.

The house has been vacant for a while, and was entirely overgrown. In fact, it was so covered in bushes and weeds that you almost couldn't see the house from the street.

Here are some pics of what the project looked like before we started:

Quackenbos- Better Pictures

Here are some better pictures of the project at 300 Quackenbos st NW. It's coming along pretty well and should be on the market in the next two weeks. The floors went in over the weekend and look great. The style is called "Black Cherry," although they look pretty light. We had the kitchen measured for granite this weekend and that should be in by the end of next week.
