Manassas Townhome- Renovation

We are in between flips, so I took on this project for a friend in Manassas, VA. It was a bank foreclosure, and it needed some major updating. The house was built in the 1980's, so the plumbing, electric and HVAC systems were in good shape. We came in to open up some walls, redo the kitchens and baths, and install hardwood flooring throughout. We also painted the entire house and rebuilt the steps.

I got to the house the day after demo started, so unfortunately I didn't get any original pics. However, you can still see the progress between these and the new pics I will upload in the next few days.

The exterior looks fine. All we will do here is install a new front door.

Here is the master bath after we removed the tile.

This is the main floor. We took out some half-walls to open up the space.

Here is the same floor, looking into the dining room and kitchen.

These are the steps once the carpet came up. I wanted to just sand the treads and paint the risers, but there are so many nicks to be filled that we decided to just lay down new wood.

This is the powder room bath. The toilet is fine, but we will replace the vanity and tile.
